Challange
People living in small or shared apartments often produce too little food waste for traditional composting and have limited use for the compost itself. As a result, organic waste collects in unpleasant bio bins without providing any visible value to the user.
DESIGN PROCESS
Solution
Aromify automatically dries and grinds food scraps into an aromatic powder while melting the candle wax. Users select when they want the process completed, then mix the prepared materials to create their own scented candle.
Solution
The result is a compact product system that turns food waste into something useful and enjoyable, making sustainable waste management more rewarding and accessible in everyday life.
